Position Overview: Mission 94 is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our firearm store sales team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, motivating the sales team, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership abilities, a strong understanding of firearms and related products, and a track record of achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business goals.
  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Set clear sales goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
Customer Engagement:
  • Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring that all team members provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist in resolving customer inquiries, concerns, and issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
Sales Training:
  • Develop training programs to enhance the sales team's product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to improve the team's sales performance and customer interactions.
Sales Performance Analysis:
  • Monitor sales metrics and key performance indicators to evaluate team and individual performance.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Inventory Management:
  • Collaborate with the inventory manager to ensure proper stock levels, availability, and assortment of firearms and accessories.
Promotions and Marketing:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute sales promotions, events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure that sales initiatives are aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
Reporting:
  • Generate regular sales reports for management, analyzing sales data, trends, and forecasts.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies.
Budget Management:
  • Manage the sales department budget, allocating resources effectively to meet sales targets.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure that all sales activities adhere to federal, state, and local regulations governing firearm sales.
Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, addressing their needs and providing personalized service.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the firearm industry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of firearms, ammunition, shooting accessories, and related regulations.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team to success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales analysis and using CRM software.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
